Entertainment

As the sun goes down, Kuala Lumpur comes alive with a choice of entertainment that is as big and varied as the city itself. Party like the KL-ites and your “nights with nothing to do” will be at an end. You can either opt for an evening out in stylish bistros or go clubbing at discotheques, bars and lounges. There are some places offering live band gigs or you can simply head to a karaoke centre. Most of the city’s star rated hotels offer some entertainment outlets but KL has many stand-alone clubs too, located in its busy tourist-belt routes. There are also a number of coffee places located within the areas outlined here, for a change of pace and to wind down after a busy night of clubbing. The best way to take in all that each of these areas have to offer is to check out areas outlined here.

Planet Hollywood

Hard Rock Cafe

Bukit Bintang & Surroundings
There a quite a few watering holes along Jalan Ampang, Jalan Pinang, Jalan Sultan Ismail besides Jalan Bukit Bintang itself, with some international franchises like TGIF, Hard Rock Café and Planet Hollywood. This is the most happening part of KL, with a wide and varied choice of outlets with different themes.

Bangsar
The best way to experience all that Bangsar has to offer is take a walk around the three streets of Jalan Telawi and experience first hand the different entertainment outlets located there and its environs. These range from themed music pubs to lively snack bars popular with both locals and expatriates.

Sri Hartamas & Mont Kiara
There are a number of entertainment outlets within this joined neighbourhood that are mixed with eateries in the area. Take a walk around to see all that these places have to offer.
